Like most events, the coronation for Miss Earth Guyana 2020 was cancelled due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19; event gathering and the high risks of social gathering are the key reasons for Guyana Premier foregoing on the event this year.

Miss Emerald Guyana 2020 is Arian Dahlia Richmond!

Guyana’s representative to the first ever Miss Emerald Pageant is Arian Dahlia Richmond. Arian is a 21 year old youth advocate and nature lover. Dahlia was born in the culturally rich Bartica. It was there her passion for nature and teaching blossomed. As Dahlia grew she found helping her peers was innate and that required representation. CANCELLATION OF MISS WORLD GUYANA 2020 COMPETITION

Majesty International, the official license holder of the Miss World Guyana franchise announces the cancellation of the 2020 Miss World Guyana national competition which was rescheduled from May 26th 2020 to a tentative kick-off in July 2020.The decision was due to the prolonged uncertainty of what may happen in the upcoming months if the COVID-19 guidelines continue to disallow event gathering and the impact the prolonged quarantine is currently having on Guyana’s economy and the world at large along with concerns building over Guyana’s inconclusive electoral results. As such, the organisation felt it had no other alternative but to cancel the 2020 Miss World Guyana Semifinals and Finals competition altogether. Majesty International, the official license holders of the Miss World franchise has selected the Semifinalists  to compete in the Miss World Guyana 2020 national competition set for May 2020. Miss World Guyana is the ideal opportunity for young Guyanese ladies to enable personal and professional growth in addition to the promotion of community service, beauty, fitness, and talent. Meet the Miss World Guyana 2020 Quarter-finalists!

Majesty International, the official license holders of the Miss World franchise has selected the Quarter finalists  to compete in the Miss World Guyana 2020 national competition set for May 2020. The organisation is now accelerating a global restructuring program to build on the progress the Miss World brand has made in executing social programs to best serve the Guyanese community on a long-term basis. The restructuring will also give the organization opportunities to foster personal and professional growth among young people and create marketing opportunities to bring differentiated value and innovation to related industries. The search is on for the next Miss Guyana Culture Queen!

For the first time ever; Guyana will be hosting a national pageant to select Guyana’s  representative to the Annual  Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant slated for  August 2020 in St. Kitts and Nevis.  Under the directorship of Guyanese born international fashion designer and Pageant Guru Randy Madray; the Miss Guyana Culture Queens aims to promote, market and preserves the diverse culture and tourism of Guyana. Guyanese model and beauty Ambassador Nalicia Ramdyal is taking a shot at the Miss New York USA 2020 Crown and title. The Miss New York USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of New York in the Miss USA pageant with the hopes of representing the USA at the annual Miss Universe Pageant.  This 27 years old beauty is a Special Ed Educator and currently working for the Department of Education in New York City.
