Miss World 2021 will be the 70th edition of the Miss World competition which will be held on December 16, 2021, at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico where Miss World 2019 Toni-Ann Singh will crown her successor at the end of the event. Unfortunately, Guyana will not be represented due to the many challenges facing the local leg of the competition even though the beginning of the year seemed promising. Guyana Returns to Miss Globe 2021!
After a 10 year hiatus, Guyana is expected to return to Miss Globe 2021. Bria Renee Lawrence, an British Guyanese beauty and model will represent Guyana at the annual Miss Globe Beauty Pageant in Albania. This 21 years old queen works as a fashion model and brand ambassador in London and holds a degree in Marketing from a prestige university in the United Kingdom.
