The competition will be held in Jamaica, September 25 – 29, 2019. Guyana’s representative to the annual Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant; Arian Dahlia Richmond secured the 1st Runner Up spot in St. Kitts last Monday evening. This is the 14th year Flow Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant has been in existence and the first time Guyana has been placed in the top five. Arian, at 20 years old who hails from Bartica also copped the Most Photogenic, Miss Congeniality and Best Promotional Video Awards. Born in the United Kingdom to Guyanese parents, Zena migrated from the United Kingdom aged 3 and lived in Melanie, East Coast Demerara, Guyana for 13 years. Miss Bland grew up with her youngest brother and her father Mr. Oswald Bland, who was a teacher and head master. At May 26 Nursery and Stella Maris Primary School, Zena’s teachers highlighted her talents in spoken word, sports and dance. She was Miss Stella Maris Upper Four. Over the weekend, Miss Guyana Faydeha King copped the 2nd annual Miss Black San’ International Swimsuit Pageant 2018 in St. Kitts making it the first time in the history that Guyana has won a back-to-back international crown. The 25 years old country girl from Corriverton, Berbice, dazzled pageant night and beat out eight other contestants from the Caribbean and the USA. Guyana’s representative to the 2nd annual Miss Black San’ International Swimsuit Pageant is Faydeha Cathylyna King. Faydeha is a social ill practitioner who is currently completing her degree in social work and masters in psychology.
The believe that Mental health issues is a big contribution to the social ills of today’s society has been the passion behind her studies and profession, giving her an opportunity to make a difference, one person at a time. Her love for children has driven her to volunteer as a counsellor at a children’s home and correctional centre (Sophia home).

Born on July 25th 1995, in the land of many waters, is 21 year old Gabriella Chapman whom everyone calls “Gabby”. She is an amiable person who thrives on learning and experiencing new things. Over the weekend, Guyana’s representative to Miss Global International 2017 was crowned. Cynthia Dookie is a 23 year old, driven young woman who strives for excellence in everything she does. She is a renowned fitness trainer and the founder of her signature fitness project- FIT U, under the slogan “Transforming Lives One Pound At A Time”. In her opening remarks she expressed her gratitude and excitement for this new journey. She referenced our past Queens as she knows the road ahead will be filled with hard work, laughter and many unforgettable experiences. Ms Dookie is no stranger to pageants as she recently competed in the Miss India Guyana 2017 pageant and copped the 2nd Runner up spot along with the Miss Fitness Award. Lisa is a young woman with an extraordinary love for life. Her repertoire of talents includes dancing and acting. The model’s ultimate passion is singing, she can’t go a day without it. Modelling has given her a louder voice to sound her beliefs on the importance of suicide prevention since she lost her brother to this act.
The 5’6 model who received her education at South Ruimveldt Secondary, dreams of becoming an engineer. Balancing her dream, while making a living, Walcott ensures she has her safety net.
