Miss Earth Guyana 2019, 26-year-old Faydeha King, left Guyana’s shores on Thursday morning for the Philippines where she will be competing with 90+ beauty ambassadors from around the world for the title of Miss Earth 2019. Her first stop will be New York City, where she will then depart to the Philippines as Guyana’s representative to the annual pageant. Tracy Smith is Miss Global Int’l Guyana 2019!

Under the theme I “Uniting the World Through Beauty and Tourism”,  Guyana’s representative to  Miss Global International  2019  is multilingual  beauty Tracy Amanda Smith. The competition will be held in Jamaica, September 25 – 29, 2019. The Miss Global International Pageant began in 2004 and to date it is the first and only competition international beauty competition to be hosted in Jamaica. Guyana set to display “Queen Amazonica” as National Costume at Miss Earth 2019!

On October 26, Guyana will be represented at Miss Earth by Faydeha King. During the National Costume Competition King will be wearing a Dexter Gardener design depicting Queen Amazonica. Meet the Miss Guyana Teen Scholarship Pageant 2019 Quarter-finalists!

The Imperial House recently launched the Miss Guyana Teen Scholarship Pageant that seeks to empower teen girls and to contribute toward their education through scholarships. Since the launch over 30 applications were received and 18 girls have been selected as the first Miss Guyana Teen Scholarship quarterfinalists; 10 will go into the final. The Imperial House is a registered organisation working towards creating and implementing social programs for the advancement of youths in Guyana through pageants and the theatrical arts. Guyana places at Miss Caribbean Culture Queen 2019!

Guyana’s representative to the annual Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant; Arian Dahlia Richmond secured the 1st Runner Up spot in St. Kitts last Monday evening. This is the 14th year Flow Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant has been in existence and the first time Guyana has been placed in the top five. Arian, at 20 years old who hails from Bartica also copped the  Most Photogenic, Miss Congeniality and Best Promotional Video Awards. The Miss Region 4 Teen With A Purpose Pageant is the first ever. This Pageant goes with a theme, “Eradicating illiteracy through reading.”  This great initiative steamed from a person who loves pageantry and fashion, Miss Pamela Vaughn. Meet the Miss Emancipation Queens 2019 Finalist!

The Miss Emancipation show is hosted during the month of Emancipation, August, and is incorporated in the national calendar of activities for Emancipation month. Under the theme “ Recolouring Culture in All Shades”,  this year pageant will be held on August 17, 2019 at the National Cultural Centre. The Miss Emancipation show is a highly anticipated occasion that takes the form of an African gala. It is one of the few occasions in which Guyanese adorn themselves in their African attire showcasing the richness of the culture. The main aim of the show is to showcase the beauty of the African culture while promoting community development and edifying our patrons on our African heritage, our challenges and solutions.
