MISS WORLD GUYANA 2021, THE VICTORIA REGIA JOURNEY POSTPONED TO 2022!
Miss World 2021 will be the 70th edition of the Miss World competition which will be held on December 16, 2021, at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico where Miss World 2019 Toni-Ann Singh will crown her successor at the end of the event. Unfortunately, Guyana will not be represented due to the many challenges facing the local leg of the competition even though the beginning of the year seemed promising. Guyana secures spot in Top 40 at Miss World!
Miss World Guyana Joylyn Conway is a step closer to winning the Miss World 2019 crown and title. The Guyanese beauty queen emerged as the winner in her group for the first round of the Head To Head Competition, beating representatives from Albania, Peru, England, Korea, and Honduras. After a great interview, where she eloquently spoke about her advocacy; Joylyn was paired with Miss Mongolia for the second round where she emerged as the winner and securing her spot into the top 40 for the finals. Georgetown, Guyana- Miss Guyana 2019, Joylyn Anita Conway is proudly representing Guyana at the 69th edition of the Miss World competition which commenced November 20th, 2019 in London, United Kingdom. Representatives from 130 countries will be competing for the coveted Miss World title on December 14th, 2019 at the ExCeL London, in London, United Kingdom where Miss World 2018, Vanessa Ponce of Mexico will crown her successor at the end of the event.
